EISENACH - GERMANY 19 OCT 2010 -- Workers at the assembly line at Opel Eisenach, Peter Schleicher and Martina Pracht are happy that the new Opel Junior will be built at their plant from 2013. This means steady jobs in Eisenach some years ahead. Here Schleicher and Pracht are working on the Corsa model. Automobile manufacturing is an important part of Eisenach economy. Opel, as part of the overseas operations of General Motors Corporation, built an entirely new plant in the northwest of the town, after the Wartburg cars plant had ceased operations in 1989. -- PHOTO: © GORM K.
